Terms of Reference

The purpose of this assignment is to look for the conceptual poser of performance management, then conduct an investigation in to a performance management system and lastly compare this with another system.

The report will evaluate a performance management system investigated against a conceptual framework that underpins it.

It will similarly compare and evaluate at least two performance management systems and consider the organisational culture and the surroundings in which they operate.

Procedure

The information contained in this document about Capita was volunteered by a senior manager of the company. The manager was interviewed on a one to one basis and agreed that the information supplied trick be incorporated in this report.

For the purpose of this report the provider of the information will be known as the draw off manager.

Capita Financial Services was created in January 2008 from three IFA specialists, IT services focussed companies Synaptic Research, Web line and Quay Software.

The business operates from 3 geographical sites Fareham, Bishops Stortford and Coventry, and employs around 100 people, mainly in technical roles bear on in the development and maintenance of their suite of software tools.
