How the instructor started the day:
Mrs. Cashiol began the class by telling the students to get forth their provision that they had been assigned the night before. Each individual student graded their own homework. She then had them get out their acquaintance books in preparation for the lessons for that day.
After going over the homework and each student finishing grading their papers, she had them turn it in by passing it forward. She then collected it from the front desk of each row. Then she went over the consequences of not having their homework like not getting to enjoy recess. Most of the students had done it, only 2 had not.
Observation:
The over alone condition of the room is that she keeps it truly clean, nigh plain even. I think she could use a minuscular more decoration, maybe some school related posters or fun quotes that could keep the children interested or inspired intimately learning. though I really do like how organised she keeps the room, everything has its place, and the kids know where everything goes.
The children keep their backpacks next to their seats; Im not sure if that is something I will do or if I will try to have cubbies for them. She kept the pencil sharpener next to her desk, and a double tray for ungraded and graded work.
The instructor has a colorful and detailed lesson calendar that she keeps on the calling card for the students; you could tell she went over a lot of information with them. Though the hour I was there for was devoted to science, she was a teacher that taught all subjects. So she also kept the homework assignments for all classes up on the board by the calendar, which included Math, science, ELA, affectionate Studies, Reading, etc.
