1. In Coca-Colas Water Neutrality Initiative, the humankind was facing over every last(predicate) was a water affix shortage. Water is a critical natural resource that challenges us at local, field of study and global level. The world is facing water shortage and drouth to floods and declining of water quality. More than 1 jillion people world-wide lack access to safe drinking water (Lawrence & antiophthalmic factor; Weber, 2011, p. 43). Especially in the developing countries, with poor water guidance it contributes to increasing malnutrition and disease, a losing of biodiversity and agricultural production, rising food prices, reduce economic growth and social stability, that leading to conflicts over water resources. The major source for of the Coca-Cola Companys (TCCC) products is water. Even the companionships CEO admits that unless the communities where the company operated had access to water, they havent got a business (Lawrence & Weber, 2011, p. 43). Coca-Cola and its bottlers using 80 billion gallons of water every year worldwide; in which both fifths goes into finished beverages. The stakeholders that were concerned in this issue are Coca-Cola, local villagers, Indias government and the NGO.
Stakeholders expectations differ from the companys cognitive process are that Coca-Cola, the company, which is under fire for its mismanagement of water resources in India, has gone all out to manufacture an image of itself as a global leader in water conservation. Because all aspects of the production are dependent on this resource, from the companys perspective water is the key component of profitability. Other stakeholders, such as residents of the surrounding area and organizations such as the knowledge base Wildlife Foundation and other environmental groups had a different catamenia of view; profitability was not a concern.
