Marions Indian style of fighting a war made the British fear him greatly. He constantly got into their heads making them to take action without thinking. The British had created two hundred and fifty men regiment to capture Marion. Little did they know that Marion was way smarter than the British. Once the British assembled their regiments, Francis and fifty-three of his men attack first (Simpson). They attracted the remaining British soldiers and ended up ambushing them. Americans dictum how brave Francis was and as a result, 60 more men joined his army the day after.
