Proposal/Abstract
* Its all Over Now, Pied Piper
* Connies obsession with vanity and want of moral upbringing places Connie in grave danger when she attracts the forethought of Arnold Friend.
* Connie is infatuated with her beautiful flawless looks. Many girls want to be glamorous and noticed, but in Connies world she thinks that her lulu is all that she has. With Connie in her on world as a young teenage girl she eventually uses her looks and attracts what is unrevealed afterward extensive amounts of research a sexual predator and murder. Connie cosmos the young adolescent juvenile that she is and not listening to her friends and family round what she is portraying herself. Connie brings all of this upon herself when Arnold Friend coast her out of the safeguard of her own home to never be heard from again.
* I selected this presently story because this is still happening in right away society. I have encountered many challenges in this project, one existence most scholarly are interested in the add up on Arnold Friends car more than Connie and the reason why she envisioned herself the way that she did.
I did find it intriguing how on Joyce chirrup Oates came up with the title of the story, all the way down to the practice of medicine that is being portrayed in the background of the story to learning a news clipping of Charles Schmid The Pied Piper of Tucson. This short story is what made Joyce Carol Oates who she is today. Smooth Talk is found on this particular short story back in the 80s
* This image symbolizes Connies judicial finis and what she is thinking and what she is being told to do by Arnold Friend. She wants to stay where she is at and in her mind she is formulation I want to stay over here, and Arnold Friends keeps saying No, this way. Connie not knowing and making a bad decision has taken her down the wrong way.
