Dual-alternative selection structure. A dual-alternative structure contains two block statements. If the test condition is not met, the first base block statements are skipped and the second block is executed. Up to now, no matter how many conditions we encountered, we were somewhat limited in our capabilities in evaluating those conditions, because we had to use a separate single alternative structure (Puhaly, 2011).
The proposed structure if the phone rings, the computer will drive the answer button and answer the phone. When the computer answers the phone it will say, how-dye-do how are you doing today, Thank you for calling Salerno Bay, and which department would you like to be transferred to?



Press one for the Financial Department or press two for the Customer Service department. When the user chooses their answer with their phones numerical keypad, the computer will input the users picking and transfer them to the Financial Department or the Customer Service department. Right before the transfer the computer will say, give thanks you for calling Salerno bay, have a nice day! The phone call will transfer to the right department and the computer political programme will end. This will eliminate the need for a phone representative or any position that requires someone to physically be there to answer the phone. The program will start up every time there is a phone call and will end every time the call is transferred.
