The Environments Reader
The objectives of this model are to examine the chore environment by separating it into 4 elements of the State(Political), the System (Tech), the Economy and the community. The State examines regulations and power and the dickens way influence between government, business and the non profit sector. The Society focuses on social trends, statistics, social inequality, business culture and business’s role in shaping society by dint of employment. The system examines the systems approach to inquiry, looking at problems holistically, the natural environment and globalization. The economy section focuses on investment, government policy, and international concern and the effect on business. All of the above are viewed using multiple perspectives learned in Chapter 3. The themes of interconnectedness between the conglomerate environments, critical thinking and analysis through recognition of the authors pre exist beliefs and motives, how business can influence each environment and criminality versa, and globalization are discussed where applicable.
